Fractional Mesotherapy

Fractional Mesotherapy is a new treatment, which combines micro needling therapy with the contemporary Mesotherapy practice.

Since the 1990’s, micro needle therapy has long been used by practitioners in the form of Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), to fade scars and generally as an anti-ageing treatment. Recently smaller size micro needles have been recognised for their capacity to dramatically increase the bioavailability of topical treatments and further enhance their transcutaneous absorption.

The first key benefit from Fractional Mesotherapy is the induction of collagen by controlled wounding. Collagen induction builds layers of the supporting intracellular matrix, promoting healthy, resilient skin that looks younger.

The second key benefit from Fractional Mesotherapy is increasing transdermal penetration of actives, facilitating higher product concentrations in the dermis. This has the potential to make topical treatments more effective.

Studies suggest that using a skin needling system can increase the effectiveness of topical treatments by several hundred percent.

Using Radio frequency energy to introduce medical grade ingredients (growth factors, Hyaluronic acid, peptides, retinol) into the deeper middle layer of the skin, where it can influence the behaviour of our cells.

Hydra Pen H2 – Fractional Mesotherapy

Hydra Pen is a new device for fractional mesotherapy treatment that renews the skin inside and outside. It also combines the functions of microneedling / microdermabrasion and mesotherapy.

The number of needles in the cartridge unit is 12pin. When the device is turned on, the needles in the cartridge begin the reciprocating motion with a frequency of 3000 punctures/min to 5500 punctures/min. Due to this motion, little punctures in the skin are evenly distributed through the punctures, the drug penetrates into the deep layers of the skin which leads to the activation process in the skin. Skin injury activates enhanced skin regeneration and renewal; hence, the lifting and smoothing effects are achieved.

Aftercare information

Immediately after the treatment you will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This will start to subside over the following 2-3 hours and will normally recover within 24-48 hours. Occasionally the redness may persist for 3-4 days.

Use tepid water to cleanse the face for the following 48 hours and dry gently. Always make sure your hands and towels are clean when touching treated area. Avoid saunas, steam rooms, excessive exercise, hot baths or showers until the redness has gone.

Also avoid aggressive skin products until the redness has subsided. Avoid intense sun light exposure and artificial UV exposure for period of at least 2 weeks after your procedure.

Use a broad spectrum UVA and UVB sun protection with SPF 50 on daily basis during this period, even in the winter or on cloudy days.
